Important Information Regarding Your Home Furnishings Purchase
Zak's Home Return/Exchange Policy
If within 5 days of your purchase you are not satisfied, Zak's Home will offer an exchange of the merchandise for comparable item s of like kind, quality and value, or a return for in-store credit at the discretion of management and if the furniture is in the same condition in which it was delivered.
In-store credits are good for one year only.
Special orders, damaged, discontinued, clearance, and "As Is" merchandise are excluded; likewise for hygienic reasons, all bedding sales, including box springs and mattresses, are final and not subject to return. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct box spring height prior to purchase. All returns must be inspected by a member of Zak's Home staff prior to credit being issued.
A 15% restocking fee will apply on all returns.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or change of a sale prior to delive1y or pick-up will result in a 15% restocking fee.
Special order items cannot be returned or cancelled once they are ordered.
Custom Special Orders
Zak's Home is pleased to provide our customers with Custom Special Order Services.
Because the merchandise you have chosen is being custom made for you, delays may occur.
Your sales associate will be glad to provide an estimated time of arrival on your order.
This estimate is provided by the manufacturer and is not guaranteed.
Special orders do require a non-refundable deposit of 25% before the item may be ordered for you.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide measurements before orders are placed.
All cut yardage (fabric) must be paid for in full before ordering and is not subject to cancellation or return.
Zak's is not responsible for any enors made by purchaser.
Clearance Merchandise
Clearance Merchandise is sold at a deeply discounted price and sold "As Is".
Clearance merchandise is not subject to exchange or return.
Zak's Home will be glad to correct any defects noticed on clearance merchandise at our regular rate for service and labor.

In the unlikely event you should find the identical item advertised in stock at a local furniture retailer within 100 miles of Zak's Home at a lower price, within thirty days of your purchase, we will gladly offer the same cash price or refund 110% of the difference, whichever is less.

Customer Service Department/Warranty
Zak's Home will (at the manufacturer's direction and disc retion) either repair or replace furniture under the manufacturer's warranty, which varies with each manufacturer.
Most manufacturers' warranties cover manufacturing defects and component defects.
Damages to furniture not caused by manufacturing or a failed component are usually not covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
Zak's will schedule a repair technician to do an on-site inspection of the item to gather information and pictures only.
This information is then sent to the manufacturer to determine whether damage is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Zak's does not make this determination and cannot be responsible for any decisions made by the manufacturer.
Zak's is also not responsible for any delays in parts or delive1y, or any other issues relating to the manufacturer's warranty.
Warranties exclude merchandise sold "As Is", and purchases from Zak's Warehouse Clearance Center.
Our trained service technicians can correct most problems in your home.
We do charge a service fee AND labor charge (calculated by the hour) after one year from your date of purchase.

Furniture Storage
We cannot hold any merchandise in our store or warehouse for more than two weeks.
Furniture held for over two weeks will be returned to stock, and a 15% restocking fee will be assessed.
Should you require your purchase to be held longer than two weeks, we will hold your merchandise at a rate of$30 per week at the discretion of Zak's management.
We must receive prior notice from you if you require your purchase(s) to be held by us for longer than two weeks.
About Your Delivery
Delive1y includes preparation and assembly of most furniture pieces and delive1y to one address.
We cannot schedule our arrival at a specific time.
You will receive a call the evening prior to your delive1y or the morning of your delive1y, and you will be given a 2-3 hour window during which you should expect your delive1y.
Arrange to be at home or have a responsible adult (age 18 or older) present to accept delive1y during the time frame indicated.
Failure to be at home for a delivery appointment or cancellation within 48 hours of delivety will result in an additional delive1y charge to re-deliver your merchandise.
We deliver to out of town areas on certain days only.
We will not move any electronics, existing furniture, computers, etc., or cut ounhe backs of armoires or entertainment centers.
Please inspect your furniture thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt.
Zak's Home cannot repair damages to your home or your furniture if damages are not noted on your delive1y receipt by our delive1y team.
There are no exceptions to this policy so please inspect your furniture thoroughly.
Customer Pick-Up
Your furniture purchase may require some assembly. We will be happy to assemble your furniture for a fee of$19.99 per piece.
Please allow 2 hours for pick-ups at the time of purchase if assembly is required.
Pick-up hours are Monday- Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Please inspect your furniture before leaving the pick-up area.
Zak's will gladly remove your furniture f om its packaging for your inspection and repackage it at your request.
However, it is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect your furniture before leaving the loading dock.
We cannot be responsible for damages after you have signed the pick-up receipt.
